DIY Summer

Hey! As we all know, summer just can't be summer without a little DIY action up in it, so I've collected six projects just for you!

First, a pair of cut-offs. These ones, as you can see, have cool designs gone on them in Sharpie, which is pretty darn awesome. They don't need too much of a tutorial, and the one I have is in Spanish, but you can easily translate it, so here it is: cut-offs

And now we have this adorable little basket, that you can make out of paper bags. Sweet, right!? Here ya go: upcycled basket

Here's one from thebeautydepartment.com. The picture tutorial just shows you where to tape off your mason jars so you can spray paint them. You can put your hair goodies in there, use it as a cup, plant flowers, the possibilities are endless!

This is one of my favorites! In this tutorial, she says to paint dots with the paint, but with others they've just said to splatter it, so it's really up to you. 

I know this says workout shirt on it, but you could really wear it anywhere. Here's where it came from! 

Annnnnd last but not least, studded sneakers! Yay! Just the right amount of gangsta. Find 'em at Honestly WTF. 

Pajama Shorts

Hey, so you know the elastic waist shorts I was talking about a few posts earlier? Well, I tried it out and I love it! They're super easy and quick to make, and they look good, and they're perfect. I'm going to live in these shorts this summer. I'll make more soon, but tonight I made them as pajama shorts as a tester:

Not a very good picture, and there's some crooked lines, but whatevs. These are great!
